Evoluting or Normal?

So we noticed today that Monster has a second set of fangs on his bottom teeth (here you see him biting Brandon’s thumb). He uses the ones he already has pretty often, so I guess extra would just be icing on the cake. Are the extra fangs normal? Are they just baby teeth that haven’t fallen out yet? Or is our kitty evolving to compensate for his trimmed-down claws?

you said this a long time ago but i have a kitten that looks JUST like yours and i just noticed his second set of bottom fangs (as he was biting me more than i’d like) and was wondering if you found out if it means superior race or baby teeth or just more biting…
