Introducing our new little kitty, Clawdius Catullus. Though the name may sound a little uppity, Clawdius excels in keeping it real.
His likes: shoelaces, pouncing on us while we lie asleep at night, and climbing up Brandon’s pant leg.
Dislikes: sleeping at night, getting his claws trimmed so that he can’t climb the furniture or Brandon, and baths.

Before I went to bed last night I caught a glimpse of the little guy on your flickr website, and strangely enough, he had an appearance in my dream that very night. I saw him and thought, “Hey! That’s Wendy’s new kitten!” I went to pick him up, then he hissed at me and clawed my face. I couldn’t get him to want to be held.
I still think he’s cute, though.

Haha, how funny! He’s already making guest appearances.
The description from your dream isn’t entirely inaccurate. Though he’ll allow himself to be held (most willingly when he’s sleepy), he enjoys pouncing my hands/feet and scratching/biting, though it’s due to playfulness rather than meanness. And I haven’t heard him hiss yet.
