I mentioned to my mom last night on the phone that I had eaten sushi this weekend and actually enjoyed it. She expressed her distaste, and I asked if she'd ever tried it. Indeed, she had, and I can't blame her for not wanting to try it again.
The sushi was sitting on the dessert table. There was bright green sauce next to it (wasabi, I assume), so she got a peice of dessert (sushi) and slathered on some sauce. Then she took a big bite, which, you can imagine, was not only shocking because of what it is, but because it's also definitely not sweet.
I had to laugh at her experience. I can't imagine how gross that would be, especially since the sushi had been sitting out. My poor mother.
