Tonight was interesting. We ate at On the Border, which was pretty good. But I'm just not totally into cilantro at all, and there were big chunks of it sprinkled on my food. It's a long road to developing a taste for it. Then we went to Huntington Beach, where, just like last year, we got to see some surfers practice for the US Open. It's kind of cool because both times we had no idea that it was going on. Then we got to be some of the first to witness a fight between two guys over a girl in a hankerchief skirt. Afterward as we walked to our car a cop car sped right past us, and we saw a helicopter with a spotlight searching the street only a few blocks away. Yep, it was time to get in the car, lock the doors, and head home.
